I don't understand the relationship between ad revenue sharing and using the adsense api, could you be more precise? I'm going to read indiastudychannel to understand better. But if you could explain here too. Thank you.

Google does not reccommend doing Ad rotation anymore. Instead, they suggest implementing revenue sharing using AdSense APIs. There are several sites now offering revenue sharing using Google AdSense APIs. http://www.indiastudychannel.com is one of the first few sites to offer Google AdSense revenue sharing programs using AdSense APIs.

Hey Mala, thank you for this post :-) On this website I encounter one problem: people don't vote a lot for other stories, and I understand that: everyone wish that their own story gets some exposure and will not especially like voting for another person if he/she doesn't get anything in return. So I think I need to add something like a credit system where you can submit X stories after you've voted for some Y stories first :-)

You need to click on Profile at the top of this page and then edit your profile and enter your adsense id (be careful, you do a mistake in the format and you will never see any earnings from AdSensigg) it needs to be like on Senserely: pub-XXXXXXXXXX with no space before or after and don't forget the "pub-"

Yes, because you see if it's a story with adsense on the page, then it's probably within AdSense's Terms of Service, which needs to be respected on this site.

I believe it is OK with AdSense TOS, because what they don't like since january 2007 is images that make it look like they are related to the ads (ie. mobile phone images above an adsense leaderboard on a page about mobile phones) or that they draw undue attention to the ads, like arrows pointing to the ads or the worst: a "click here" suggestion... But background images add to your site design and as such don't hurt the advertisers or the users and neither Google. But the best thing is to ask the AdSense team about that.
